Description
This is an OSHA-compliant, I-CAB recognized safety training course intended for everyone in maritime situations who may have to deal with fire. Topics covered in this training include hazard identification/storage, equipment, fire prevention, fire response, and common hazards. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed Maritime Fire Fighting training.

NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can vary by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.
