This is an OSHA-compliant, I-CAB recognized safety training course intended to teach someone for the role of competent person in excavation. Topics covered in this training include anatomy, stability, safe operations: know yourself, safe operations: know your machine, and safe operations: know your worksite. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed Excavation - Competent Person training.
