Description
This is an OSHA-compliant, I-CAB recognized safety training course intended for new riggers and signalers. This training covers slings, hardware, lifting devices, sling angles and stress, sling hitches, crane operations, and communication. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed Rigger and Signalperson - Basic training.

NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can vary by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.
