Description
This is a Canada-compliant, I-CAB recognized safety training course intended for anyone learning about nutrition and food safety. Topics covered in this training include nutrition, food safety, cooking safety, fire safety and first aid, and illnesses and allergies. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed Nutrition and Food Safety training.

NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can vary by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.
