Description
This is an OSHA-compliant, I-CAB recognized safety training course intended for dealing with violence in medical facilities. Topics covered in this training include employee impact, employer impact, types of violence, patient/client violence, worker-on-worker, burnout, workplace violence, prevention program. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed Violence in the Workplace - Healthcare training.

NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can vary by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.
